Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data MDOT Technology (“MDOT”, “we”, “us”) collects, why, and what rights you have. It follows India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.
1. Who we are
MDOT Technology, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. Email: hello@mdottech.com. For your personal data collected through this website and our own WhatsApp number, we are the Data Fiduciary.
2. What we collect
- Details you give us: name, business name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, website, and what you tell us about your enquiry. This comes from our forms, WhatsApp, email or calls.
- WhatsApp conversations with our business number, including messages our AI assistant sends you.
- Audit information: with your permission, we send a test enquiry to your business and note how it is handled, and we review your public Google Business Profile and website.
- Website usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and how you reached our site. This is collected through Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Client project data: for clients, any data needed to deliver the agreed service (see section 7).
We do not ask for passwords, bank details or government ID through our website or WhatsApp.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, book and run your free audit, and send you proposals you asked for.
- To deliver, support and bill the services you buy.
- To follow up about your enquiry. We do not send unrelated marketing without your consent.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it (analytics, only with consent).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We process your data on the basis of your consent, or because you voluntarily gave it to us for a specific purpose, such as asking us to contact you.
4. Our AI assistant
Messages to our WhatsApp number may be answered by an AI assistant. To generate a reply, your message and recent conversation are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic. The assistant can hand the conversation to a person at any time. Ask for a human and one will reply. Send STOP to stop receiving messages from us.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, under their own data-protection terms:

Some of these providers may store or process data outside India. We may also disclose data where Indian law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and conversations that don’t become projects: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Client records: for the length of the engagement, plus the period Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep invoices and contracts.
- Analytics data: according to our Google Analytics retention setting.
We delete data sooner if you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it.
7. When we work for clients
When we run WhatsApp, CRM, booking or other systems for a client business, that business decides how its customers’ data is used. In that case the client is the Data Fiduciary and MDOT acts as its Data Processor. We process that data only on the client’s instructions and to deliver the agreed service, and we never use it for our own marketing. If you are a client’s customer, contact that business first about your data.
8. Your rights
You can:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used
- Ask us to correct, complete or update it
- Ask us to erase it
- Withdraw consent at any time. This doesn’t affect anything done before you withdrew.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to
- Raise a grievance with us
To use any of these rights, email hello@mdottech.com or send “DELETE MY DATA” to our WhatsApp number. We will reply within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, strong passwords and limited staff access to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
11. Children
Our services are for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think we have, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell clients and anyone we are in active contact with.
